GUIDELINE FOR HIGH BLOOD TRIGLYCERIDE LEVEL

High blood Triglyceride level can cause as much problem as high blood cholesterol. It should be controlled to prevent further complications.

There are several suggestions you should follows:

  1. See your Doctor regularly and have blood test control.
  2. Weight reduction if you are over-weight.
  3. Change in daily eating habits are recommended.
  4. Avoid taking excessive carbohydrate and sugar since it will convert into Triglyceride afterwards. This group of food includes rice, bread, noodle, sugar and sweets.
  5. Avoid taking fatty foods.
  6. Avoid using animal saturated fat including palm and coconut oil.
  7. Avoid alcoholic beverages and cigarette smoking.
